CINDERFORD director of rugby Paul Morris believes his side’s winning run can go on after a fifth successive victory was delivered in style.
A dominant performance saw the Foresters thrash London Irish Wild Geese 43-0 despite a number of changes to the hosts’ line-up.
And Morris says the Dockham Road club’s recent form – eight wins and a draw from 10 games – signals a turnaround of fortunes.
“Compared to the first 10 games of the season it’s a complete turnaround,” he said.
“It was a dominant win. London Irish Wild Geese are a handful on their own pitch but we knew they haven’t travelled well this season.
“We felt it was a good opportunity to make changes; we changed five players and made eight positional changes and to win so well while doing that was very pleasing.
“It wasn’t our best performance by a long way – we had to respect them and we did but I felt given the standard of our opponents in Taunton Titans and Bishop’s Stortford those were better wins and especially away from home.
“Our performance at Old Elthamians was still the best and if they weren’t as a good a side as they were that day they wouldn’t have beaten us.”
