WORLD Cup winner Ceri Large will face off against a number of her England colleagues this weekend after being named in the embryonic women’s Barbarians side.

he Baa-Baas take on England at Twickenham on Sunday June 2 in a double header involving both men and women teams.

Drybrook RFC alumni and centre Large is one of two Gloucester-Hartpury players named in the Barbarians squad, linking up with clubmate Emily Wood.

Also in the Barbarians line-up are fellow World Cup winners Danielle Waterman of Wasps and England’s most capped player, Rochelle Clark.

Large, who has 52 England caps, could face off against fellow Forester and ex-Drybrook star Natasha Hunt should the Gloucester-Hartpury scrum-half be named in the Red Roses side.
