ENGLAND head coach Eddie Jones made a triumphant return to the Forest of Dean Dean in this year’s Barnes v Forest charity spectacle at Lydney’s Regentsholme.

Jones oversaw the Wayne Barnes Invitational XV as the Premiership referee returned to his roots to tackle a Forest XV.

A huge crowd turned out on the chilly Bank Holiday Sunday at Lydney RFC’s home ground to witness a dramatic game that ended in a 50-50 draw, as Jones and Barnes retained the Debbie Broderick Memorial Trophy as the current holders.

The match was organised by Wayne and Polly Barnes in aid of the charity Breast Cancer Now.
