IT WAS billed as the clash of the Titans as Newent rugby players faced the town's footballers in a charity soccer match. The talented rugby boys scored three goals in 10 minutes to beat their opponents 4-0. Newent Football Club chariman Kevin Mason said it was a 'great day all round', raising £555 for the local church and £300 for the Stroke Association."
