BERRY Hill will be relegated to their lowest ever level of league rugby on Wednesday night, unless they get something from Matson.
Hill lost 29-8 at home to a well-drilled Old Bristolians side in Western Counties North on Saturday. Kurt Brown scored a try with Aaron Ryder kicking a penalty.
Hill struggled to get their hands on the ball and again made too many mistakes. At one point they found themselves playing with 13 men, with Brett Scriven and Nathan Lane in the sin-bin.
Hill's final game of the season is in Gloucester on Wednesday night (6pm) and a point is required to lift the Hillmen above Keynsham.
Hill team manager Jamie Elsmore said: "Our understanding is we need a point to stay up.
"It would take us to third from bottom and the indications are that would be good enough. A win would make sure."
