REDBROOK Rovers marked their return to the North Gloucestershire Premier League after four years in style with a crushing 8-1 over Lydney Town A.

Callum Wilding scored five with four of them coming in a 10-minute spell.

Jake Teague got Rovers’ opener after 19 minutes with Ieuan Frost hitting home on the half hour.

Callum Wheatley got the home side’s third two minutes before the break.

Wilding’s goal rampage started in the 65th minute Howle Hill were 2-1 up against Soudley at half time against Soudley and went on to win 5-1.

James Blackwell, Callum Hall, Kristian Milnes, Joseph Thomas and Sam Thorne got Hill’s goals.

Ethan Wilkins got a hat-trick as Milkwall beat Longhope 4-1.

Luke Brazil got Milkwall’s fourth and Jack Niedzwiecki scored for the visitors.

Jason Littleton scored twice as Westbury United won 0-3 at Mitcheldean. Christopher Raphael got the other.

Elliott Greening got two and Harry Spencer one as Woolaston beat Harrow Hil Reserves 3-1.

Newly-promoted Staunton & Corse drew 2-2 with Broadwell Reserves with goals from Matthew Crabb and Luke Quinn.

Ellwood edged a tight Division One contest beating Bream Reserves 3–2 in a game that stayed competitive throughout.

Mark Wayman, Louis Downing and Harry Sheppard scored for Ellwood with Bream’s goals coming from a Nathan Meredith brace.

Lee Morton scored twice as Lydbrook Reserves drew 2-2 at Ruardean Hill Rangers Reserves.

Two goals from Dan Jones saw Sling win 1-2 at Whitecroft. Grant Kear scored for Whitecroft.

Tidenham drew 1-1 with Redmarley and Tibberton with Adedamola Kumolu-Johnson scoring for Tidenham and Jack Harvey for Redmarley.

Harrow Hill A drew 0-0 with Mushet and Coalway Reserves.

Ben Lodder scored the opener as Alvington Star beat Westbury Reserves 6-0 in Division Two.

Lewis Tucker scored twice and there was one each for Ethan Tucker, Thomas Vincent and James Willetts.

Carl James saw an early early goal disallowed in Blakeney Reserves’ 5-1 over Milkwall.

He then opened the scoring with a 20-yarder from Callum Parker making it 2-0 just before half-time.

James gort Blakeney's thirrd with a free kick and Corey James pulled one back.

Goals by Christian Cox and James made it 5-1.

Milkwall got one back to make it 3-1.

Mitcheldean Reserves came from 1-0 down at half-time to beat Rank Outsiders 2-3.

Ben Peake and Lewis Green scored for Outsiders.

There were 31 goals in the three games on the opening day in Division Three.

Substitute Kai Durrant got four goals for league new boys Yorkley Reserves in their 13-0 demolition of Alvington Star Reserves.

There were two goals each for Anthony Smith and Liam Tye and one each for Scott Meredith, Cayden Loew, Declan Loew, Oscar Hale-Hunter and Mitchell Hale.

Isaac Cambridge got the first of his four goals after eight minutes as Staunton & Corse Reserves won 1-8 at Sling Reserves.

Alexander Cambridge got the second goal after 24 minutes and Lewis Sewell got the visitors’ third after 34 minutes.

Isaac Cambridge then added two in six minutes, opening the second half scoring after 49 minutes.

Alexander Cambridge got his second on 68 minutes and Ross Buxton got the seventh six minutes later.

Isaac Cambridge finished the scoring seven minutes from time.

Broadwell A were 2-0 up at half time in their home game against Rank Outsiders and they eventually ran out 8-1 winners.
