HUMBLE villagers Drybrook have had more players called up for representative honours this season than ever before.
More than 20 players have been picked for county and South West teams.
Chairman Paul Mason said: "It's unbelievable really for a club of our size, we've never had representation like this in my time.
"It's a reward for the coaches, particularly in the junior section. All of the players gaining these honours bar one have come through our junior section."
Richard Cotterell, Ben Large and Sam Peaper have been selected for this year's 35-man Gloucestershire squad for the forthcoming County Under-20s Championship.
They figured in Sunday's 53-8 warm-up win over East Midlands in Northampton, with Ben scoring a try.
Craig Boughton and Joe Tingle have both been selected for the Gloucestershire under-18s and were the pick of the forwards in a 7-3 loss to Dorset & Wiltshire.
Junior players Dewi Wilcox and Mac Dale recently appeared for the Gloucester Under-15s Academy side against Cardiff Schools, with Tyler Jerrum and Will Greenway helping Gloucestershire under-16s beat Somerset 26-5.
Kieran Auker-Howlett played for the county B team in a thumping 36-13 defeat of Somerset.
Added to that, Bryony Edwards, Beth Lawrence, Ashleigh Wintle, Chloe Wakefield, Natalie Pye, Amber Probyn, April Vanston, Maizie Morgan, Chanise Beard, Charlotte Pye and Robyn Hancock have all been picked for county girls' squads at various age groups.
