CORSE & Staunton had a hard day at neighbours Aston Ingham after being 2-1 and eventually going down by seven wickets in the West of England Premier.
Gus Carini-Roberts took a catch off Simon Clark to dismiss Ed Goolden and then William Turner was caught by Edward Bell off Mohamed Dilshad in successive overs.
They suffered another two losses in successive overs with Angus Bartlett catching Jack Tyrer off Dilshad and James Dallaway going to a Dan Smith catch off Anthony James for 22-4.
Harrison Tegg scored two fours but was then caught by Sam Didcote off Dilshad.
Corse were 43-6 when Matt Brown was bowled by James.
Bertie Wyatt contributed 35 including a six but he was caught by Didcote off James for 79-7.
Didcote took his third catch to dismiss Edward Hulls, this one off Bartlett, for 107-8.
Adam Robson and Callum King 39 for the ninth wicket with King going to a Bell catch off James.
The innings closed on 162 after 37.1 of Corse’s 50 overs.
Robson was 48 not out including six fours and a six.
Aston needed just 28.4 overs for the loss of three wickets despite Carini-Roberts being bowled with the fourth ball by Goolden.
Opener Angus Bartlett and Anthony James made a second wicket stand of 81 with James going to a catch by William Turner off Tristan Maree.
His 38 came off 40 balls and included seven fours and a six.
Dharzekanth Yoganadan was the final wicket to fall, going to the Turner-Maree combination with the score on 98.
Bartlett and Jack Carpenter reached the target with Bartlett hitting 70 and Carpenter 36.
Bartlett 70, off 87 balls, included 12 fours while Carpenter score came off 32 deliveries and included eight fours.
