WAR
The world is hurtling towards war.
‘The West’ once controlled world trade and dominated industry and banking. The rest of the world is catching up. It wants a different world order.
The USA is the dominant western power in the world and will resort to using brute force to maintain it. It imposed its ‘rules-based order’ on the world – with it in charge of the rules.
As its power declines it wants a ‘division of labour’ to maintain global dominance. While it ‘pivots to Asia’, ‘Europe’ is to be responsible for conducting the ongoing conflict in Ukraine with Israel responsible for maintaining ‘western dominance in the Middle East. It is US military muscle that links the conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East and the rising tension in Asia.
However, the war in Ukraine is being lost. It cannot recruit soldiers. There have been over 250,000 desertions from the army. Russia has vastly superior firepower and outnumbers Ukraine on the battlefield 2 to 1. Its war of attrition surrounds towns and then pounds the defenders with glide bombs, thermobaric rockets, missiles and drones to destroy them. This inflicts huge losses. Condemned as Russian propaganda, a recent ‘hack’ of the Ukrainian military listed over 1.7million Ukrainian casualties and may be plausible.
In Gaza the slaughter has drawn only muted criticism from the UK government and none from the USA. Like Ukraine, Israel is a proxy that acts in tandem with the USA and ‘the west’. It is determined to destroy Iran to maintain its regional superiority and maintains that Hamas is an agent acting for Iran. It uses this to justify ‘ethnic cleansing’ and its recent sneak attack on Iran which it is likely to repeat.
European politicians are becoming desperate as the Ukraine war is being lost. They see that their militaries are no longer sufficient to fight a modern ground war. They are therefore seeking to spend MORE on war. What they want is a ceasefire in Ukraine to ‘freeze’ the conflict, and then re-arm it to fight on. Why would Russia agree to this?
Britain has a long history of attacking Russia. No sooner was the second war over than ‘Operation Unthinkable’ to launch a pre-emptive attack on the Soviet Union was considered. Operation ‘Red Sox’ worked with Ukrainian Nazi’s to combat the Soviets. This was followed up with ‘Operation Gladio’ – building up a partisan force throughout Europe that subsequently morphed into outright terrorism.
This pattern has continued in Ukraine. It puts us in danger and is costing us billions while we make cuts in public services.
Current turmoil in the world is a result of ‘the wests’ declining economic and military power. The failure to adapt to this has produced a desperation that shows in the poor quality of ‘western’ political leadership. They don’t know what to do.
Conflict is inevitable. Countries need to accept the new world order and resolve conflict by diplomacy. If they don’t then the possibility of war greatly increases.
