YOUNG adventurers will soon be able to test their mettle on a brand-new high ropes course which is coming to the Forest this spring.
Go Ape at Beechenhurst Lodge is launching a new ‘Treetop Adventure+’ high ropes experience at the end of April.
The course is designed for slightly older participants than Go Ape’s existing children’s experience, Treetop Adventure, of which the new course is an extension.
The new experience will challenge young thrill-seekers to reach new heights and tackle harder crossings and obstacles.
The course also includes an even longer unsupervised zip wire to take you back to the forest floor.
Go Ape Beechenhurst Lodge first opened in 2015, adding to the adventure company’s existing attractions in the Forest of Dean at Mallards Pike Lake.
The experience is suitable for children over six years old and you must be 1.2 metres tall to take part.
The course costs £24 per person and is available to book from March 2021 before opening in April.
