A WOMAN has been rushed to hospital with potentially life threatening injuries after a crash on the A48.

The woman was taken by ambulance to Frenchay Hospital in Bristol after the two car smash.

The smash happened at 8.10am near the Viney Hill turn off outside Blakeney.

The road is closed and motorists are being advised to take alternative routes.

Further details cannot be released until next of kin have been informed.
