A 33 year old woman accused of causing serious injury to a man by driving carelessly in Churcham has had her case adjourned until September at the request of her defence.
Cassandra Newborough, of Wigeon Lane, Walton Cardiff, near Tewkesbury, is charged with driving a Honda CR-V without due care and attention on the A40 at Churcham on 24th October 2024.
The charge alleges that her driving led to Stephen Coles suffering serious injury.
Newborough did not enter a plea to the charge at a hearing last Tuesday, May 26th.
Her defence solicitor Meabh McGee applied for an adjournment to obtain a report relevant to the case and the magistrates agreed.
Newborough was unconditionally bailed till September 4.
