No High Street in Coleford, but great butcher and bread shops. Also the same in Cinderford and Lydney.
Try them before the life is terminally squeezed out of our town centres. I can't understand why some people in Cinderford are so keen on Asda, which is owned by the American Walmart, who are such bad and ruthless employers that people in the US actually demonstrate against their presence nationwide.
Why do some people set their employment sights so low? Well-paid manufacturing jobs in quantity, such as the ones that Rank Xerox provided, are what's needed. Let's have some ambition and strive to get the equivalent back in the area, not concentrate on the limited and basically paid work that the supermarket chains offer.
