Division Two

Harrow Hill 3

Bredon 2

LEADERS Harrow Hill won this game with a Jekyll and Hyde performance.

Hill created some good early chances, but did not convert them.

They lost their composure, started to make mistakes and let Bredon back into the game.

Bredon took the lead, but Hill equalised within two minutes.

A free-kick into the box caused panic and Eddie Weyman slammed the ball home from six yards.

Hill got back on top and played some excellent football.

Following some good build-up play, Scott Morgan crossed for Weyman to slide in and net his second.

Darren Weyman slotted Hill's third goal. Andy Symonds won a defensive header and gave the ball to Darren Weyman, who released Matt Boseley. Weyman kept on running to get onto the end of Boseley's cross.

Hill thought they had scored a fourth when Eddie Weyman headed home a corner, but the goal was disallowed for a foul.

Bredon camped in the Hill half during the second period.

Hill's back three worked hard, but they gave the ball away too often. Bredon did not make the most of the opportunities that came their way.

Hill had further scoring chances, missing three one-on-ones.

That meant Bredon always stayed in the game, especially after scoring their second five minutes from time.

Hill manager Andy Reid said: "I was very pleased with the way we played in the first-half after going a goal down. Some of the football we played was superb.

"The second-half was disappointing. We need to keep possession and kill games off when we have the chance.

"We have to play for the full 90 minutes, but I was pleased with the work rate of the lads, especially Darren Weyman who was everywhere."
