WESTBURY United beat Broadwell Reserves 2-0 in the only North Gloucestershire Premier League match played this week.
There were few chances in the first-half, but the best fell to Westbury's Cliff Khoza. His effort, after a great twisting run, was blocked on the line.
Khoza put Westbury ahead in the second-half and looked set to double the lead.
He rounded the Broadwell keeper before being hauled down.
Westbury man of the match Rob Snelgrove, played in an unaccustomed right-back position, bent the free-kick into the net from 20 yards.
