AFTER reading Mark Harper' s column I can tell him how to remove the terrorist threat to this country.

Stop poking our nose in every part of the world like invading Iraq where previously we had supported Saddam Hussein.

There were no WMDs and Saddam Hussein had not been responsible for 9/11 which George Bush had convinced 70 per cent of the American public was the case.

Our involvement in Afghanistan is the fourth time we have sent troops into that country.

Every political party leader tells us it is to protect our national interest.

If we were not there I do not believe the threat would come from there.

We are only supporting the USA in their foreign policy.

It is reported that the Afghan government has protested to the

Americans over the killing of 40 civilians.

If we brought our troops home, lives would be saved and money not spent on waging war.
