I SEE the Co-op can extend its store in the Coleford area and get things passed without much trouble from the councils butting in – or so it seems of late. But what about the other supermarkets that want to create extra choice and new jobs in the area which have been been blocked or thrown out? Is theresomething fishy going on?

I think it's good that a new supermarket wants to come to the area and give people more choice and in turn create extra jobs which I think is great for the area as a whole as it's an employment blackspot. Something like this will help address the issue.
