A 23-year-old Ross-on-Wye man has been charged with causing the death of 49-year-old Stephen Grice, who died three weeks after a road crash near Huntley. Michael Payne, of Rowan Close, Ross, made a brief preliminary appearance at Gloucester Crown Court last Thursday, accused of causing the death of engineer Stephen Grice from Harrow Hill.

He is also accused of causing serious injury to Mr Grice's fiancee, Nula Davies, by driving dangerously on the same occasion.
