PEOPLE were invited to discover their inner Jackson Pollock in sessions run by Forest artists.

Pollock – known as Jack the Dripper – was famous for his technique of dripping paint onto canvases.

The Splatter Sessions by the Forest Collective Studio, at Littledean Tap on Saturday (August 29), invited guests to abandon rules entirely - flinging, pouring and throwing paint at a canvas.

Collective co-founder Naomi Hands, who helped organise the sessions, said: “The format is deliberately unstructured. There is no tutor at the front of the room, no technique to master and no wrong way to do it.

“The appeal is the freedom, the mess, and the fact that nobody knows what they will end up with until it is done.”
