MORE than two thirds of people living in the Forest are overweight, according to a government study.

And the Dean is the second 'fattest' district in the county, behind only Tewkesbury.

The national data was released by Public Health England, the government's public health agency, revealing that 66.9 per cent of the Forest's adult population were overweight or obese between January 2012 and January 2013.
