SEVERAL people were injured in a town centre brawl that involved up to 30 people.

During the fight in Cinderford a 20-year-old man from Ross-on-Wye received a gash from his eye to his nose which required stitches.

A 19-year-old man from Cinderford sustained a cut to his chin.

Police were called to the High Street in Cinderford at around 12.35am on Sunday after receiving reports of disorder.

Officers believe there were around 30 people at the scene and are calling for anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward if they haven't already.

An 18-year-old man from Westbury-on-Severn and a 15-year-old girl from Drybrook were both arrested on suspicion of causing actual bodily harm in connection with the incident.

They have been bailed to attend Gloucester Police Station on July 1, pending further enquiries.
