TRIBUTES have been paid to Steve Grice, an engineer and sportsman, who survived a major accident in December but died at home from his injuries last week.
Steve, from Harrow Hill, had been a passenger in a Fiat 500 when it was involved in the collision on the A40 near Birdwood close to the King's Head pub at about 7.20pm on December 14.
He was taken to Frenchay Hospital, in a life threatening condition, but was sufficiently well enough to be released home after Christmas.
He died on Friday after he suffered medical complications.
