Police have arrested three people in connection with a burglary in Coleford in the early hours of this morning after a member of the public reported suspicious activity in Lydney.

A child's scrambler bike, chainsaw and hedge cutter were stolen from an outbuilding in Fetter Hill in Coleford overnight.

After a resident of Lydney reported a woman trying to sell satellite navigation systems and other items in Harrison Way shortly before 10am today, police searched the area.

A car was stopped in Naas Lane and what is believed to be the stolen property from the Coleford break-in was found shortly afterwards.

A 44-year-old woman and an 18-year-old man, both from Coleford, and a 19-year-old man from Christchurch near Coleford were arrested on suspicion of burglary in connection with the incident.

All are currently being questioned at Gloucester Police Station.
