TWO years after falling into a coma following a life-threatening car accident on the A48, Lydney youngster Josh Lee has managed to rebuild his life.
After being airlifted to Frenchay Hospital in Bristol in August 2012, Josh spent ten days comatose before undergoing surgery in his broken back and neck.
Fast forward to last week, however, and Josh had just completed a charity skydive with friends and family to raise money for Great Western Air Ambulance as a 'thank you' for saving his life.
"It was a really great experience, it was really fun," he said of the skydive.
"A lot of us did it and we raised quite a bit for the Air Ambulance. There's a good amount of money; I would say there's probably a couple of grand there."
Rugby fan Josh, who at one point was captain at Cinderford Colts, went on to explain how his life is more or less back to normal now having taken up a role as a security engineer at a company in Gloucester.
"The job's going really well," he added.
"The company have been really great and understanding about my injuries – I've been there for nearly a year and I'm pretty much living a normal, every day lifestyle."
