GLAMOROUS great gran Jennifer Hancocks is spraying it with champagne after winning a cool £1 million on the Lottery.

But the 76-year-old from Bream hasn't let things go to her head - she splashed out on a £33 hairdo after being told she had become one of 100 UK millionaires created in the National Lottery draw to celebrate the anniversary of the London 2012 Olympics.

Jennifer sang 'Here we go' at a special reception at Speech House to meet the media.

She said that she gets her daughter to check her lottery ticket every week and added: "When Tina realised I had won a million pounds, she was too scared to tell me on her own and asked her sister Maria to break the news to me.

"She kept trying to tell me I was a winner and I just kept telling her to stop being silly."
