THIEVES have stolen £2,500 worth of red diesel and a tanker from a Lydbrook depot.

The thieves forced their entry into the compound between 5pm November 26 and 8am on November 27, and stole a yellow coloured fuel bowser, which contained around £2,500 worth of red diesel fuel.

The bowser is then believed to have been towed away from the scene.

Anyone who saw suspicious activity, or knows of the whereabouts of the bowser should call police on 101 quoting incident 112 of Friday, November 27.
