STAGECOACH has announced a number of timetable changes which could affect locals.

Services 22, 23, 24, 32 and 33 across Gloucester, the Forest of Dean and Herefordshire will have revised timetables while the Over Bridge roadworks are in place.

Changes across Gloucestershire, Swindon and Wiltshire are being implemented to help improve punctuality and make journey times more reliable for customers.

Martin Gibbon, Managing Director of Stagecoach West, said: “We know how important it is for customers to be able to rely on their bus, particularly when roadworks and other delays can affect journey times.

“These changes are relatively minor, but they will help us make better use of the time available in our timetables and improve reliability across a number of services.

“We will continue to monitor the impact of the Over Bridge roadworks and do what we can to keep services running as reliably as possible while the works are ongoing.”

Delays may still occur at busy times, but the changes are intended to improve the consistency of journey times. The impact of the roadworks will continue to be monitored and further adjustments will be considered if needed.

In Gloucester, minor changes will be made to Services 6 and 13. Some journeys continue onto other services that are affected by the ongoing Over Bridge roadworks, so the timetable changes are designed to help services run more reliably and reduce the impact of delays.

In Cirencester, Services 76, 77 and 78 will have revised timetables to reflect updated finish times at Farmor’s School and help improve punctuality.

In Swindon, minor timetable changes will be made to Service S6 and 6 to improve punctuality and the reliability of journeys.

Customers are advised to check the latest timetable before travelling, as some journey times will have changed.
