NATIONAL sweetheart Stacey Solomon is hiding a secret heartache as she battles to become Queen of the Jungle.

The former X Factor contestant only lost her beloved Forest granddad about six weeks ago.

Now supporters say the Forest should get behind her on I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.

Stacey may be known as the Dagenham Darling, but she is also a familiar face in the Forest.

Despite a hectic schedule, the bookies' favourite has been a regular visitor to the home of her elderly grandparents.

She has been spotted at various venues, including Bells and the Speech House, and has visited the Sculpture Trail with son Zach.

The down-to-earth star recently wowed the crowds at Lydney' s Relay for Life event in June.

Stacey was last seen six weeks ago when she attended her grandfather's funeral at St John's in Coleford. The family were later seen at the Speech House Hotel.

All say that she has the same down-to-earth, friendly personality that has made her such a hit with legions of fans.

Former winner Joe Swash is rooting for Stacey who had to eat a kangaroo penis in a Bush Tucker trial before being parachuted into the jungle.

Kerry Katona says her laugh could let her down so Stacey may need the support of Foresters as well as Essex folk.
