ST WHITE'S primary staff and children were celebrating after learning they are finally getting a new £6 million school.
Pupils could be moving into a brand new Cinderford primary within the next two or three years.
Governors who have been campaigning for more than 30 years could hardly believe their luck.
New headteacher Gary Law learned the news in a phone call from MP Mark Harper.
"It was the first I knew about it and I was ecstatic," he said.
"We have been waiting such a long time we could hardly believe it. It's really exciting news for the school."
