Harlequins v Newnham-on-Severn
FATHER and son Danny and Grant Keddle starred for Newnham in this 40 overs match at Hucclecote Rugby Club.
Put into bat, Newnham scored an impressive 228-4 with 75 not out from Grant Keddle and 67 not out from Tom Bell. Openers Richard Fenn and James Bell chipped in with 22 apiece.
Harlequins were never in contention against the wily bowling of Keddle Senior, who took 7-41 in 10 overs, and Matt Dallow (3-32).
Keddle finished off the match with a hat-trick. He was backed up by some good fielding that produced eight catches and a stumping.
