DIRECTOR of rugby Nick Bartlett dubbed this 'the most amazing comeback he has ever seen in his time at Lydney'.
Trailing 26-0 inside 30 minutes, Lydney were staring down the barrel of an embarrassingly heavy defeat.
However, the introduction of Steve Price, Dave Emery and Nick Selway helped transform the complexion of the match as the visitors stormed back to snatch victory with a late try from man of the match Paul Scott, superbly converted by Brett Turner.
Bartlett said: "We were taken to pieces in the first half all over the pitch and the mood was very much doom and gloom.
"Our forwards deserve all the credit for turning it around in the second half and the impact came from the bench.
Two tries from man of the match Paul Scott, plus further touchdowns from Dave Emery and Will Jones led Lydney's rear guard effort.
Brett Turner kicked three conversions and a penalty.
