Councillors have flagged up a potential conflict of interest in the closure and sale of the Wilderness Centre in Mitcheldean.

Gloucestershire County Council ordered that the 43-year-old outdoor and environmental education centre be closed down due to cost cutting measures.

The centre shut its doors for the last time yesterday and several staff have been made redundant.
