THE FOREST High School in Cinderford is one of a select group of just 20 across the UK chosen to take part in a Sky-funded anti-plastic video project.
The school’s geography department welcomed the transformation team and Sky Media last Friday.
Year eight and nine students worked in teams learning about the impact of throwing plastic away into our oceans and then each team produced an advert about it.
The winning team was ‘Team Ocean Man’ who created an educational video highlighting the plight of fish eating plastic before explaining why this was a problem and how we could solve the issue.
The advert will be submitted to media specialists at Sky who will select five overall school winners for an all-expenses paid trip to the organisation’s headquarters in London.
