THE Traveller's Rest pub in Malswick reopened for business this week.
Having closed last August, the pub was bought by the Herefordshire & Gloucestershire Canal Trust in September 2013 for £225k.
It has now been taken on by tenant landlords Jeff and Judith Steers, who have been managing local pubs for a number of years.
The pub has undergone a complete refurbishment during the past couple of months and will be used to raise money for an ambitious canal development project.
