THE DEAN'S most important historic iron furnace is set to become a wallpaper making centre!
Allyson Mcdermott, who restores historic wallpapers, wants to use the Gunns Mill site near Flaxley as a centre for printing wallpaper, using historic methods and machinery.
Conservation officer Kate Biggs explained: "Essentially, what we want to do is conserve the building and use it as a training centre.
"This will enable us to conserve the standing structure and make good use of it.
"It will be a substantial project."
