SOME areas in and around Cinderford are still without electricity after a power cut this morning.

National Grid was alerted at 7:52am this morning (Saturday 27) and said engineers are currently working to get electricity back on as quickly as possible.

National Grid apologised to residents for the disruption and said it will provide updates when it can.

A National Grid Electricity Distribution spokesperson said: "Engineers are on site restoring supplies following a power cut in the Cinderford area caused by a fault on our high voltage network. Customers can check the latest updates online or call 105. Anyone needing extra support can sign up to our free Priority Services Register."
