FOREST of Dean General Election candidates will be facing the voters next week.

There are hustings taking place at St Mary’s Parish Church in Lydney on Monday night with a 7.30pm start where the public can grill the proposed MPs on their local and national policies.

Conservative Party candidate Mark Harper, Labour’s Di Martin, Green Party candidate Chris McFarling and Independent Julian Burrett are all expected to be taking part in the hustings.

The General Election takes place on Thursday December 12.
