POLICE are appealing for help to trace missing pensioner Edward Wise from Beachley near Chepstow.

Edward Wise, 74, who is known as Eddie to many, was last seen on July 18.

He is considered vulnerable and his disappearance is out of character.

Officers are continuing to urge the public to come forward with information in relation to Eddie as they are growing increasingly concerned.

He is described as white, six foot tall, of a large build, with short, dark brown hair and a beard. Eddie left his home in his blue Nissan Note, with the registration number NM08 LPV.

Eddie may be in South Wales as his car is believed to have been travelling in the area after he went missing. He likes walking and may have been heading to the Brecon Beacons or Pembrokeshire in the Dyfed Powys Police area.

Anyone who sees Eddie should call 101 straight away, or 999 if appropriate, and quote incident 330 of July 20.
