FOREST of Dean police are appealing for information following a number of garage and shed break-ins in and around the Coleford area at which a numbers of bikes were stolen.

These happened overnight on Friday, March 9 into Saturday, March 10 in the areas of Mile End, Broadwell and Tufthorn.

An unknown offender either attempted to break-in or forced entry to the garages and sheds and stole four bikes.

Officers have released CCTV image of a man they would like to identify in connection with the incidents.

Anyone with information should call police on 101 and quote incident 270 of March 10. Alternatively, call independent crime-fighting charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
