DANNY Pointon makes his first start for Cinderford since his return to the club on Saturday, at home to Macclesfield (2.30pm).
Ben West returns to the second-row and Chris McNeil replaces Luke Allen. Chris will captain the side, in the absence of club captain Adam Nicholls who is still recovering from a hip flexor injury.
Cinderford director of rugby Andy Deacon said: "There was no explosive response from me in the dressing room after our disappointing defeat last week. The players know me inside out and they know I can often react passionately to a defeat. But in the last 20 minutes of the game I knew what was coming. I let it go, and was quite philosophical with the lads. They put their all in and I can't question that. We did not play to our true potential or to the game plan. Too many basic errors were made which did not enable us to get a platform in the game."
Deacon says Cinderford must not worry about the big picture, but should take each game as it comes.
He said: "Can anyone tell me who's getting promoted or relegated?
No. And it's almost halfway through the season.
As long as we produce the right levels of hard work, we'll come good."
