A series of road closures will take place across Drybrook Parish next month.
The council has confirmed that several routes around Ruardean Hill will be shut at various times from Tuesday, September 8, with works expected to finish by Monday, September 14.
The order allows the roads to be closed either individually or simultaneously, depending on operational needs.
The longest stretch affected is Highview Road, which will close between A4136 Hawkwell Row and Forest Road for nearly 2km. Other closures include Bents Lane (421m), The Hollow (120m), Baptist Way (450m) and Morgans Lane (197m). All are being resurfaced as part of the council’s maintenance programme.
No waiting or loading will be permitted while works are underway. Pedestrian access to properties and emergency access will be maintained throughout, and alternative routes will be signposted.
