A LORRY has overturned on the M5 J8 roundabout which is causing delays and is causing disruption for traffic this afternoon.

National Highways said “there is no access to the M50 westbound from the M5 southbound.”

National Highways said “traffic heading for the M50 should continue south on the M5 until J9 and return to J8 where you can exit and join the M50.”

We will update when this is more information.

UPDATE- West Mercia Police said: “We received a call around 9:30am this morning (26 June) with a report of an overturned lorry on the roundabout at junction 8 of the M5.

“The driver, a man in his 40s, was taken to hospital as a precaution.”
