CINDERFORD Town will not be running a reserve side this season.
Town's second-team played in the Cheltenham & District League last term, having originally been launched to help talented young players from the area develop into Southern League players.
Now, those plans have been shelved, for the time being at least.
Instead, North Gloucestershire League Division One outfit Puma will be playing their first-team home matches at The Causeway.
Cinderford Town's Stuart Tait said: "It is disappointing, but we have to concentrate on the firsts.
"I would like to thank Clive Preest and Nigel Warren for what they did with the reserves last year. They deserve a lot of credit."
Town have finalised their pre-season programme which begins on Tuesday July 19 at home to Soudley (7.30pm).
Soudley will be managed this year by Ian Pritchard, who looks after the Causeway ground.
Town go to Tuffley Rovers on Saturday July 23 3pm), then host Shortwood United the following Tuesday, July 26 (7.30pm).
Goytre United come to The Causeway on Saturday July 30 (3pm).
Moving into August, Town host Longwell Green on Tuesday August 2 (7.30pm) and Larkhall on Saturday August 6 (3pm), before finishing their pre-season with a short trip to Broadwell on Tuesday August 9 (7.30pm).
