AN APPEAL to allow plans for a holiday caravan site in Gorsley has been dismissed. The Forest of Dean District Council initially rejected the scheme for the 21 touring holiday caravans site on land between the Ross Road and Sterry's Road in Gorsley, in August last year. The inspector, Geoffrey Hill, said the applicant had not overcome the objections on the grounds of highway safety and accordingly, the appeal should be dismissed."
