A WARRANT without bail has been issued for the arrest of a 54 year old Newent woman accused of assaulting an ambulance worker during the course of her work last year.

Lucy Nicholls of May Hill View failed to attend Cheltenham Magistrates Court on November 11 to face the charge of assaulting Rebecca Hulland by beating on September 16 last year in Gloucester.

The warrant was issued on the basis that the offence is punishable with imprisonment.
