NEWENT Community School has improved sufficiently over the past year to enable it to come out of the 'Special Measures' category.

Almost12 months to the day when the academy school was placed into special measures by Ofsted, the school's inspectorate, a team of Inspectors revisited the educational establishment on Friday to announce their decision.
