A MAN, who used a stun gun in an attack on another man, has been jailed for four years.
Gloucester Crown Court was told that Mark Quinn, 48, of Coopers Way, Newent had headbutted his victim then used the disguised Taser, which resembled a torch, on his victim before kicking him as he lay prone.
Quinn then sent a text message in which he said the victim, Riley Stevens, ‘went down like a sack of spuds’ in Newent High Street in September 2017.
Quinn was jailed for four years for possession of the firearm between September 22, 2017 and September 30, 2017, and having a firearm on September 29, 2017 with intent to cause actual bodily harm.
