THE car parking provider for Gloucestershire’s main hospitals has launched a new parking app today (Wednesday, June 11).

Saba, the car parking provider, has an app called ‘Saba – Your Go-To Parking App’ and is available to download on the Apple App Store and Google Play.

However, while staff and visitors can use this app to pay for their parking, Gloucestershire Royal and Cheltenham Hospitals reminded residents they can still pay with physical cash, or by card at the sites.

Posting on social media, a spokesperson said: “Staff and visitors to our hospitals will need to switch to the new app to continue paying for parking through the app. You can also pay for parking on the Saba website at the time of parking, or through cash and card depending on the car park you are parking in. Saba staff will be on site tomorrow to help and answer any questions.”
