A YOUNG mum from Cinderford couldn't believe her eyes when she scratched off her Millionaire 777s Scratchcard from The National Lottery to reveal that she'd won a £1million top prize.

Emma Wildin, 29, from Cinderford, was on her own in her garden early in the morning last Wednesday when she discovered she'd won - and promptly phoned her husband Phil, who had already left for work.

The windfall comes just weeks after 76-year-old Bream grandmother Jennifer Hancocks scooped £1 million on a National Lottery draw to celebrate the anniversary of the London 2012 Olympics.

Emma's scratch card cost £5 and was bought at the Co-Op store in Cinderford.

Mother-of-two Emma, who regularly buys scratch cards, said: "I told my husband he needed to come back because I thought I'd won £1million. I couldn't believe it. He was cool as a cucumber!

"I paced around the kitchen until 9am when the Camelot line opened and I could chat to someone about my win. Afterwards I took the children to soft play and because I was too worried to leave it, I had the winning card in my handbag the whole time!"
