A NEW group with strong Forest connections is about to burst onto the music scene.

The musicians from Spiral Planet began working on their concept album by using the facility at the Soundspace Studios in Cinderford, however they quickly outgrew this venue and moved to the studios at Two Rivers Studios in Cheltenham.

The group is lead by Newent’s Mark Millar (keyboards), and include Stephen Butler (keyboards), Geoff Murrell (vocalist), Joe Simpson (vocalist), Ali Park (vocalist), Pete Farnell (bass), Ade Miller (lead guitar), and Ian ‘Lofty’ Gardner (drums).

The band’s concept album is largely written by Mark and inspired by NASA photographs.
